Happy Holiday Metal Cards

Note: Items not listed above, but referred to in the instructions, are found inside the Beginner Kit. Refer to photo for application and placement of Metal embellishments. Pattern reference is snowman, present, and ornament.

- Attach Nylon Detailer Point onto Handle. Trace pattern onto Metal. Using Metal Scissors, cut on traced line.
- For present design, place Metal piece on top of Design Sheet, using blue painter’s tape to hold Metal in place. Use Texture Tool to emboss design by rubbing over Metal until design details are revealed.
- Use Nylon Detailer Point to refine and define the embossed design on both the front and back of Metal Piece.
- Attach any Roller onto Handle and use to decorate all edges. Place Metal piece on the Foam Mat. Use Ruler to help keep embossed design straight.
- For snowman design, attach Wide Roller Diamond Point. Place Metal on the Foam Mat and roll Diamond Roller across Metal in random directions, creating a textured effect.
- For ornament, repeat step 5 using Diamond Point to create textured design.
- Refer to photo, cut papers and layer onto cardstock. Apply stickers and scrapbook embellishments.
- Using Zip Dry, adhere decorated Metal pieces onto card. For present, adhere ribbon to Metal before placing on card.
- Use Stickles to add arms and face to snowman, dots of ornament, and accents. Place scrapbook stickers onto front of snowman for buttons.
- Trace and cut snowman hat from black cardstock and adhere to snowman.
Easy Metal Candle Wraps

- To determine the amount of Metal Border needed, wrap the Metal around candle and add 1”. Cut Metal with Metal Scissors.
- Place Metal Border onto Design Sheet. Tape in place with painter’s tape.
- Use Texture Tool to emboss design by rubbing over Metal until design details are revealed.
- Attach Nylon Detailer Point onto the Handle. Place Metal on Acrylic Mat. Use Point to refine and define the embossed designs on both the front and back of each Metal Border.
- Attach any Roller onto Handle and use to decorate edges. Place Metal piece on the Foam Mat. Use ruler to help keep designs straight.
- Use Metal Tape to adhere decorated Metal Borders around candles.
Other ideas:
- For added decoration, insert Metal Tacks (#28023) into Metal.
- Use Solvent Ink (see Ink 101) and apply color to embossed Metal.
