Holly Leaves Stoneware

Holly Leaves Stoneware
Designed by Walnut Hollow®

Materials:
- Walnut Hollow#174; #23906 Creative Versa-Tool™
- Set of Stoneware pottery
- Laser copies of holly leaves
- Pliers

Instructions:
1.To prepare stoneware, wash with soap and water, rinse, and dry.

2.To prepare laser copy of leaves for transferring, cut out leaf patterns, leaving at least 1" of plain paper around leaves. Place pattern on rim of plate, color side down. Tape in place.

3.Transfer image onto plate using Creative Versa-Tool™ Transfer Point. Hold tool in an upright position. Place hot point on paper, moving quickly in a circular motion until image has been transferred. Lift a corner to check on progress of transfer. Continue in the same manner until all patterns have been completed. If pattern has not been successfully transferred, image can be erased using either fingernail polish remover or scouring pad.

4.To clean stoneware, hand washing and drying is recommended.

Note: Before you begin, the Creative HotMarks™ tool works best when used with the Walnut Hollow™ Tempered Glass Mat. It will ensure that your work area will not be damaged from heat. Use masking tape to secure the Pen holder to the work surface. Attach and tighten with pliers the Point you are going to use on the Creative HotMarks™. Plug Pen in and turn switch "on". It usually takes 3-4 minutes for the Pen to heat. Remember when changing Points, they are hot and need pliers to remove or attach to the Creative HotMarks™. After removing the hot Points, place them in the molded tray of the Tempered Glass Mat to cool.
