Materials:

- (1pc) 8 1/8" x 8 1/8" blue check scrapbook paper
- Different sizes of spattered paper in shades of tan and gray to resemble beach
- Small sea shells
- Small sand dollars
- Decorative tag - Flower stickers - Blue stamp pad Other Supplies: craft glue, drill with 3/8" drill bit, fine sandpaper, 15" of white cording,
paper towel, pliers, spray varnish, tape, (2) 3/4" screw eyes

Instructions:
1. Before using the Creative HotMarks™, read all instructions and follow all safety precautions. Attach the letter "A" from the HotStamps™ Alphabet Set to the Creative HotMarks™. Tighten with pliers. Use tape to secure stand to hard surface. Place Creative HotMarks™ on stand. Plug into electric outlet, turn "on", and let heat for 4-5 minutes. Practice on a scrap of wood before beginning project.

2. Refer to photo for placement of HotStamps™ Alphabet and embellishments. Using Creative HotMarks™ with letter A, stamp onto edge of Memory Frame. After using A, turn tool "off" and let cool. Repeat for all letters. Unplug tool and let cool.

3. Use stamp pad to add a wash of color to edges of frame. Very lightly rub stamp pad directly onto wood. Use paper towel to remove any excess. Let dry. Apply 2-3 coats of spray varnish. Let dry.

4. Use craft glue to adhere checked paper to back of frame opening. Tear tops of spattered paper and layer for beach. Adhere with craft glue. Use craft glue to adhere decorative tag. Let dry.

5. Use drill with 3/8" drill bit to create hole for clock opening approximately 3" from top and left side of frame opening. Insert clock movement according to directions on package. Glue small sea shells to represent numbers on the clock.

6. Apply flower stickers to three corners of frame. Use craft glue to adhere sand dollars to beach area. Use craft glue to adhere small shells to bottom ledge of clock.

7.To create hanger for clock, attach screw eyes to top corners and tie cording to eye screws.

Note: Before you begin, the Creative HotMarks™ tool works best when used with the Walnut Hollow™ Tempered Glass Mat. It will ensure that your work area will not be damaged from heat. Use masking tape to secure the Pen holder to the work surface. Attach and tighten with pliers the Point you are going to use on the Creative HotMarks™. Plug Pen in and turn switch "on". It usually takes 3-4 minutes for the Pen to heat. Remember when changing Points, they are hot and need pliers to remove or attach to the Creative HotMarks™. After removing the hot Points, place them in the molded tray of the Tempered Glass Mat to cool.
